***PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE TO 6:30PM. THANKS!***
Long time ASK volunteer and super mom to Josh, Celia Andrus, will be speaking about how CLS (Community Living Supports) services benefit Josh. Josh is able to volunteer, go on outings, and choose his own recreation and life skill enhancement activities with the help of trained CLS workers. Celia manages the funds coming in and going out for this for Josh and will tell us how she set it up and how to make it work.
Everyone is invited. There is no cost to attend, and we have lots of space to spread out, so we can properly socially distance.
This group is held at the Special Olympics Unified Sports and Inclusion Center, where the ASK office is housed, and the address is 160- 68th Street SW, Grand Rapids. The building is located between US131 and Division Avenue, on the south side of 68th Street.
Please park in the EAST parking lot, and enter through the main doors. We will meet in ROOM #4, straight down the hall. Look for signs too!
As we resume programming, we will do a lot of extra sanitizing and cleaning and will ask that you wear a mask inside, if you are able. If you cannot tolerate a mask, that’s OK, we will just make sure that we properly socially distance. (Masks will be available.)
***Please do NOT attend if you have any symptoms of any illness.
